BRIEF

JP Morgan Chase, a longtime partner of both Pier 17 in the South Street Seaport and NBA star Jalen Brunson, set out to activate both relationships in a single, high-impact moment. The goal: deliver a once-in-a-lifetime experience exclusively for Chase cardholders through a live taping of The Roommates Show.

The experience needed to go beyond entertainment. It had to embody the depth of the partnerships through immersive storytelling, premium hospitality, curated meet-and-greets, and a studio-style atmosphere that invited guests to not only watch the show, but become part of it — culminating in a dynamic audience Q&

PROCESS

Outside Perspective partnered closely with JP Morgan Chase, Pier 17, and CAA to develop a cohesive strategy that delivered against each core objective. Our team began by mapping the full scope of assets across the JPMC and Roommates Show partnerships — from talent access to branded environments — to shape a fully integrated experience.

RESULT

HALL OF HOOPS
The Hall of Hoops welcomed guests onto a Chase-branded court, surrounded by imagery highlighting Jalen and Josh’s journey as friends, teammates, and co-hosts. Dynamic lighting and sound design brought the space to life, immersing fans in the world of the show from the start.

LIVE PODCAST STUDIO
220 guests entered a fully produced studio environment crafted by the Outside Perspective team. Designed to replicate The Roommates Show set 1:1, the space featured custom staging, full-scale lighting, and professional sound and audio systems.

Outside Perspective led end-to-end production — from technical direction and show calling to coordinating the live recording in partnership with The Roommates Show film crew.To further drive engagement, Race Service produced a 60-second film that fused fashion and design storytelling with dynamic motion graphics and a curated photo shoot. This content elevated the collection's narrative, emphasizing the cultural bridge between motorsport and contemporary style.

CHASE LOUNGE
The Chase Lounge offered guests a luxe pre-show experience, featuring elevated furnishings and premium hospitality curated by the culinary team at Jean-Georges, along with signature cocktails. Live DJ sets filled the space with energy, setting the tone for a one-night-only experience that felt both exclusive and unforgettable.
